This well-established existing residence with the most spectacular view was in need of refreshment. A fairly substantial renovation included removing all existing pitched roofs, due to water damage and regular leaks, to raised concrete roofs with clear-storey elements to filtrate Northern light into the deeper parts of the house facing the ocean on the Southern side. A sun stoep and gym also now occupy the northern part of the residence with views of the valley.

The original main foyer of the residence was relatively small and poorly utilized, the refreshment design resulted in a new feature stair and lift into the residence. The living spaces on the upper level were opened and joined to boast beautiful Northern light into the deep spaces as well as uninterrupted views of the ocean right on the doorstep.
