House Meintjes involved a major renovation of the living spaces and loft areas by relocating the stair to a more serviceable position and providing optimised bedroom spaces in the loft above. The existing suspended timber floor and beams of the loft were replaced with a rib and block floor to assist with sound insulation and better flow in the area above.
